About & methodology

Rooms for the Pack is an independent guide to hotel pet policies for people who travel with big dogs or several dogs. We're not affiliated with any hotel chain.

How we check policies

• Official sources only. Every value comes from the chain's own website or an official hotel page, never from third-party directories or reviews.
• Dated. Each guide and row shows the date we checked it.
• No guesses. If the official source doesn't say, we write "Not stated — call property". That doesn't mean the answer is no.
• Examples are labeled. When a chain sets policy hotel by hotel, we name the hotels we checked and mark them as examples.

Always confirm with the hotel

Policies change and individual hotels may differ. Call the property directly before you book, and get the approved number of dogs and the fees in writing.

Money

We have no affiliate partnerships right now, and no hotel pays to be listed. If that changes, we'll say so clearly on any page with affiliate links.
